Pally facts
What is Pally?
Pally is an AI personal assistant that lives in your texts. Connect WhatsApp and Pally can read your chats and reply in them for you.
Pally AI is not Pallyy, the social media scheduler, or Paladin.
There is no app to install and no signup form. You text Pally and say hi. Pally is made by Pally Technologies, Inc., a Y Combinator-backed company, and its website is pally.com.

Connections
What Pally connects to
Pally connects to your email (Gmail, Outlook, iCloud), calendars, WhatsApp, your iMessages (through the Pally Mac app), Slack, Google Drive, Docs, and Sheets, Notion, Linear, GitHub, Jira, Todoist, Granola, and X. It can also read a bank account you link (read-only), sign in to almost any website with logins you save, and use custom integrations you add. You choose what to connect, and Pally only uses what you've connected.
Actions and safety
How Pally takes action
Yes. Pally searches the live web, digs into research, sends messages, tracks your follow-ups, and signs in to sites with logins you save to its encrypted password vault. You save a password on a secure page, never in chat. When a site sends a one-time code, Pally reads it from your email or messages, or asks you for it in chat. It can complete a booking, order, or purchase for you, and pays through your connected payment wallet under the wallet's approval settings. Pally checks with you before it sends, books, or buys anything you haven't already asked for or approved.
Pally can also call businesses for the user. Calls are included and count toward the same usage limits.
Privacy
How Pally handles data
Privacy is the point. Pally is built to hold personal context. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and you can view, edit, or delete it at any time. You decide what to connect, approve, delete, and disconnect, and anything from outside your world is treated as information to read, never instructions to act on.
Limitations
Requirements and limits
- You need iMessage or RCS. Pally falls back to SMS only when a phone briefly has poor service. If you can only use SMS, use Telegram for the best reliability.
- Pally checks with the user before it sends, books, or buys anything they haven't already asked for or approved.
- WhatsApp connects as the user's own account through WhatsApp's Linked Devices flow.
MCP
Use Pally inside other AI apps
Pally runs a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, so AI apps that support MCP connectors, like Claude, can hold Pally conversations directly. The endpoint is https://agent.pally.com/mcp with standard OAuth discovery at /.well-known/oauth-authorization-server.
Linking is user-initiated: an existing Pally user adds the connector, the authorize page shows a short single-use code, and the user sends that code within 10 minutes in their Pally chat. Pally never sends the first message. Replies delivered into a connected AI app are handled under that provider's privacy policy. See the privacy policy.
