Morning brief

One text every morning with what actually matters: your day, your inbox, and the things you said you'd do.

You set it up once, in one text. Every morning pally reads across your connected apps and sends a single message with the handful of things worth knowing, and you can act on any of them by replying.

The routine

How it works

Choose what belongs in your morning brief and name the time you want it. You might ask for today's Calendar, urgent Gmail, and promises hiding in Slack, or keep it narrower. That first text sets the routine; you do not have to rebuild the request each morning.

Before the brief arrives, pally reads across only the apps you connected for this recipe. It pulls the shape of your day from Calendar, separates the Gmail messages that need attention from the general pile, and checks Slack for open threads or changes that could affect what you planned.

The result comes back as one compact message at the time you chose. Instead of three separate feeds, you see the meetings, changes, replies, and loose commitments most likely to matter today. It is a starting point for the day, not another inbox to clear.

Every item in the brief is actionable from the same conversation. Reply to ask what changed, draft an email, move a reminder, or focus tomorrow's brief on a particular project. You can also change the delivery time or what is included whenever your routine changes.

Common questions

Which apps can this morning brief use?+

This recipe uses the Gmail, Calendar, and Slack accounts you choose to connect. You can include all three or ask for a simpler brief from just the parts of your day you want pally to check.

Can I change the time or skip weekends?+

Yes. Text pally a new delivery time or tell it which days should get a brief, and the routine can follow that schedule. You can adjust it again later without setting everything up from scratch.

Can I do something directly from the brief?+

Yes. Reply to the item you care about and ask for the next step, such as drafting a Gmail response or clarifying a Calendar change. Anything that would leave your world is shown to you for approval before it happens.
