Slack sentry
Mentions instantly, busy channels in batches, bot noise demoted: Slack without keeping the tab open.
The routine
How it works
Pally watches the channels you care about: direct mentions reach you right away, busy channels arrive in short batches, and channels that turn out to be bot noise get demoted, with a note saying it made that call.
- Pick the Slack channels to watch and what deserves an interruption.
- Pally reads the thread around each mention, so the alert says who needs you, what they're asking, and by when.
- Reply to act. Tell Pally what to say and it posts as you; ask for a draft and it waits for your yes.

Common questions
Will every Slack message become a text?
No. You pick the channels and the bar. Mentions come right away, busy channels come in batches, and bot noise can drop to mentions only.
Can I change how one channel is watched?
Yes. Tell Pally to batch it, make it mentions only, or watch it closely again. When Pally demotes a channel itself, it tells you so you can undo it.
Can Pally reply in Slack for me?
Yes. Tell Pally what to say and it posts as you. Ask for a draft and it waits for your yes.
