So, Fo by Wajo or Pally?

The case for Fo by Wajo
Pick Fo if you want an agent that works under its own name, with its own inbox, phone number, and card, and a human team behind it for the errands AI can't finish alone. You can message it in Slack, and an OG Fo invite adds unlimited call time and group chats at no cost.
The case for Pally
Pick Pally if you want an assistant that also runs your inboxes: it reads your WhatsApp, iMessage, LinkedIn, and X messages, and connects Outlook, Apple apps, your bank, and any MCP server. It answers a number you hand out, joins group chats with no invitation, and never trains on your connected accounts or shares your data with ad partners.

Where Fo by Wajo shines.
A human team behind the agent
When a task can't be completed with AI alone, Wajo says its trained executive assistants step in and handle it. Most agents stop at a polite failure message. Fo's promise is that the errand still gets done. Pally has no human backup.
An identity of its own
Fo has its own email address, phone number, and payment card, and it emails from its own address rather than as you. It pays with a single-use card for each purchase. Wajo's phrase for it is "empower not impersonate".
Reach it in Slack and WhatsApp
You can message Fo in Slack, and TechCrunch reports it works in WhatsApp as well as iMessage. If your day runs through Slack, Fo is closer to hand.
Published trust numbers
Wajo built a simulated world of businesses and people to test Fo, and published the results. In that evaluation Fo completed 71% of errands and kept the user's trust on 94% of runs built to tempt it into overstepping. Wajo notes these are simulated tasks, not measured outcomes for real users.
What each one costs.

Fo by Wajo
Free · Pro by quote
Wajo lists three plans for Fo. Fo Mini is free, with 1,000 tasks a day and a limit that resets daily. OG Fo is free and invite-only, with unlimited tasks, unlimited call time, and group chats with Fo. Pro is "Contact us" and adds support for heavier workloads, MCP access, and custom-built agents.
Pally
Free
Pally is free, with almost unlimited usage limits. No waitlist or invitation. Cloud Mac is a paid add-on. Every connection, every automation, calls, and its own number and email.
Switching from Fo by Wajo.
Pally's setup is texting a number, and connecting accounts is tapping a link it sends you. No account to create first.
Connect your email and calendar first
Gmail, Outlook, or iCloud Mail, and your calendars. Pally flags what needs you, summarizes the rest, and checks availability, books and moves events.
Then add the rest
Slack, Notion, Linear, GitHub, Drive, your own WhatsApp, your bank, and your own MCP servers. Save logins to its password vault and Pally runs web errands in a browser with them. Add it to group chats, with per-capability grants controlling what it shares from your accounts.
What carries over
Your accounts: Pally works from the email, calendars, and apps you already use. It remembers the people in your life and what matters to them, and you can browse and edit that memory in its web dashboard.
Pally vs Fo by Wajo FAQ.
What is Fo?
Fo is an AI action agent from Wajo, Inc., a San Francisco startup that launched it in August 2026. It has its own email address, phone number, and payment card, and it calls, emails, and coordinates with people to finish everyday tasks, with Wajo's team stepping in when AI alone can't. It books the dentist, sits through the hold music, rebooks a delayed flight, and sends the flowers. Wajo is led by Shivani Poddar, who previously launched frontier models at Google DeepMind and products at Google Labs.
How much does Fo cost?
Fo Mini is free with 1,000 tasks a day. OG Fo is free and invite-only, with unlimited tasks, unlimited call time, and group chats. Pro is priced on request and adds MCP access and custom-built agents. Wajo's terms also allow a procurement fee on purchases Fo arranges, disclosed before checkout. Pally is free, with almost unlimited usage limits, and group chats need no invitation.
How do I message Fo and Pally?
You sign up for Fo in the Wajo web app, verify your phone number, and then text it, email it, call it, or reach it in Slack, ChatGPT, or Claude. TechCrunch reports it works in iMessage and WhatsApp, though Wajo's own pages say texting without naming an app. Pally has no signup: you text it in iMessage, RCS, or Telegram, email it, call it, or reach it from ChatGPT, Claude, and other AI tools.
Do Fo and Pally both have their own number and email?
Yes. Fo has its own email address, phone number, and payment card, and it emails from its own address, never as you. Pally has its own email address and a number you can call. It also takes calls for you: you give out the number, Pally picks up, handles the call, and tells you what happened. Wajo doesn't say Fo answers calls on your behalf.
Does Fo train AI on my data?
Wajo says your data is never used to train third-party AI models. Its terms at https://wajo.ai/terms-of-service (section 6.3) let Wajo use de-identified or aggregated user content to train AI and machine-learning systems that improve its services and build new products, and Wajo describes no opt-out. Google Workspace data is excluded. Its privacy notice also allows sharing personal information with advertising partners for targeted ads. Pally never trains on your connected accounts and never sells your data. It trains on your conversations by default, and you can turn that off in settings.
Which is better, Pally or Fo by Wajo?
Fo fits errands that may need Wajo's human team; Fo Mini is free, while the free OG Fo plan needs an invitation for unlimited calls and group chats. Pally fits connected personal inboxes and a number that answers calls for you, with no invitation.
So how does Pally make money?
Pally plans to earn a fee from merchants when you buy through it. Merchants can never pay to change what Pally recommends to you. Cloud Mac, an optional add-on, is paid.
